Karen help guide us through the entire buying process, offered guidance with some complex county concerns and even put us in touch with several custom builders, one of which we chose to build our home. My agent, Karen Derwin, was able to coordinate the selling of my old home with the purchase of my new one. Apparently this 3-way situation is not a common one, but with Karen's real estate knowledge, her negotiating skills, and just plain excellent karma (!) she was able to provide me with what could not have been a more positive experience. I would (and will) recommend her in a heartbeat!

Actually we dealt with Karen Derwin so my responses are for her. She met with us approximately one year before we put the house up for sale as we guaranteed an extension of one year of rent to our tenant. When we agreed to a listing price we received 3 bids over the list and we extremely pleased that there was that much interest especially in the current housing market.

When our family decided to sell our Mom's house we chose Karen Derwin, a realtor with The Cascade Team. She met with us a year before we were going to put the house up for sale to provide us guidance on what we'd need to do to get it ready to sell. After that meeting she continued to provide us guidance and answered our questions. When we were ready to sell the house she was there to again offer up suggestions on what would help sell the house. When the house went on the market it took a couple of weeks before we had three offers for more than the asking price. Karen worked with the family to describe all the offers so that we could make the right choice. From that point she coordinated all the paperwork, the inspection, the appraisal, etc. It took just a little over a month to close on the house. We really appreciate Karen Derwin's knowledge of the local market, her willingness to answer all our questions quickly, and just her willingness to help us through this process as it was tough for my family to sell my Mom's house. We really appreciate all that Karen did for us!

Karen Derwin did an excellent job on selling our house. She did everything that was asked of her and more. We had two offers the first week, and closed with no hitches in record time. Even after closing I had a few items that I wanted to relay to the buyer and she got the info to him quickly without error. I would highly recommend Karen to anyone looking to sell or buy property or house.
