The Red House Beer & Wine Shoppe has a lovely patio to spend an evening on. This upscale downtown Renton Tapas Bar has a delicious selection of tapas and entrees. We settled on the Falafel Fries and the Hilltop Farm Beets and both were scrumptious. Since this is a popular restaurant reservations are recommended. We went early so a spot on the deck wasn’t too difficult. Did you know this restaurant was  a former 1920's boarding house home to railroad workers and coal miners? We love this Renton neighborhood and all it’s history. Check out the patio at the Red House and let us know what you think.

If you have or know of a business that should be featured let us know at Stay tuned for chances to win gift cards to our

This week we visited the lovely patio at the Whistle Stop Ale House after a leisurely stroll through the Renton Farmers Market. This family owned neighborhood pub has been around since 1995. They are known for their amazing staff and great food. They aren’t kidding! Our waitress, Sarah, was awesome and friendly. We had a beer (it is an Ale House and that seems appropriate) and the Toasted Pesto Bread. Both were delicious. They offer breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 Days a week. This family friendly restaurant offers Kids Eat Free on Monday nights and the next Brewers Night featuring Hale's Brewery is on July 12, 6-9pm. They are located in downtown Renton on the corner of 4th and Williams. Check it out.

Familiarity does not always inspire popularity. Located a hop, skip, and a jump away from historic and scenic Snoqualmie Falls, The BIndlestick is situated across from Snoqualmie's Railway Museum. Conveniently walkable, the location is extremely close to the Snoqualmie River front parks such as Riverview Park and Sandy Cove picnic locations.

The Bindlestick is owned and operated by local 18 year Snoqualmie resident, Rachelle Armstrong, and her local staff. Rachelle bought the business from a friend, another local resident, and has truly made the place her own! It's almost as if The Bindlestick was waiting for her before show casing its true Snoqualmie colors!

These are not the only reasons locals seem to be obsessed with the popular
