Let’s face it; whenever we want to get anywhere, we often ask ourselves how far do we have to drive? Bothell can be known as the “center of everything.” It is literally right between SR-522 and I-405. In this blog post, today, I am going to focus on the I-405 points of interest and how close everything is to Bothell. We’ll follow up with part 2 in another blog discussing the points of interest off of SR-522.

Need to commute to Microsoft? By living in Bothell, you can be less than 15 min away from Microsoft without paying Redmond prices.

What about Bellevue? Who can say that they like dealing with traffic? I personally love Bothell because it is close to Bellevue but far enough to stay away from the Bellevue traffic.

With just an 11 min drive, you can get to Bellevue square and be at the center of it all. In addition, you have access to downtown Bellevue that has not only the best shopping but great restaurants, clubs, and entertainment as well.

One of my personal favorites is downtown, Kirkland. My husband and I would take a $20 Uber ride to meet our friends in downtown Kirkland all the time. We would have all the activities available, from great restaurants to the waterfront strip.

It is a lot more affordable to live in Bothell vs. any of the three locations of Redmond, Kirkland, and Bellevue.

Here we have a graph of the median sales price in Bothell over the last few years. Currently, it is $748,775 as of June 2021

There is a significant difference in median sales price in Bellevue, $1,122,500, as of June 2021. That is a $373,725 difference between the two locations.

Following that, you can see that both Kirkland and Redmond have a higher median price point than Bothell. They both have a median sales price of $950,000 as of June 2021. On average, That makes them $201,225 more expensive than Bothell.

Bothell is not only amazing because of great access to restaurants, clubs, waterfronts, and shopping; it is also close to Evergreen Hospital. The hospital and scores of related medical offices are located in Totem Lake in Kirkland, often mere minutes from Bothell. Bothell is both a great place to live and invest in, whether buying a home or buying it as a rental property. You can see the appreciation of the home values in the first graph above. Bothell is a place to consider.
