Colorado Home Is Legally Unlivable As Home Owner Was Deceived By Seller

A Colorado couple says they were defrauded by the people involved in selling them their dream home when they failed to disclose that it never received a final certificate of occupancy, which has been more than 10 years since the home was built.  Not sure why the title company didn't figure this out, but the owners now are stuck, and no one is wanting to purchase the home until the items are corrected; which is estimated at $20,000.  Check out the video below.  Make sure that your agent and title company do the proper due diligence to ensure that any new construction or remodeling has the proper permits and certifications.
