For the last few weeks, my husband, neighbor's and I have been going to a great event. And every week we have a great time! This is an excellent event outside that has great food trucks, a beer garden, and great live music.

According to Facebook, Music in the park:

The Monroe Chamber of Commerce is proud to partner with the City of Monroe and put together a great family friendly event.

Music in the Park is a free summer concert series playing FOUR Friday's in July at Lake Tye Park!

The food trucks open at 6:30pm, and the Beer garden opens at 6:30pm as well. The live music starts at 7:00pm  

A couple of weeks prior (July 9th), they had Buddy Burger food truck, and it was absolutely delicious. They also had great live music by Megs McLean (country). The following week (July 16th), they had Stacy  Jones Band (Blues) and Big Dogs food truck.

This is also a very dog-friendly environment

But there is still time to enjoy the music and great food trucks.

This week, today they are having BroHaMm (R&B-Motown) / and Anthony's Finn food truck. And on July 30th they are going to have The Aphrodisiacs (Disco)  and  TBD food truck
