Wild Sky Estates

I was driving down Old Owen in Monroe, and I came across a New Real Estate Development sign. "Wild Sky Estates" with a directional sign heading up towards Florence Acres. Intrigued about New Homes being built, I wanted to see the new "17 Luxury Homes" stated on the sign. So, I drove down to get more information and see how much they have built so far.  The Community is located on 287th Ave SE, Monroe. Here is the first sign I saw that led me to the New Development.

New Real Estate Development From Main Street Monroe

How far is the new development from Main Street in Monroe? Here is a map view. It is no more than a 12 min drive. I knew that we were getting very close to Sultan based on the distance driven on the way out there. I at first questioned if the new development was in Sultan and not Monroe. But it is, in fact, a Monroe address, but very close to Sultan. How close? 4.1 miles, to be exact. Here is another map view, but this time it's from Wild Sky Estates to Sultan

Wild Sky Estates Model House

Once I got to the new development, I went inside the model home located on Lot #8 called "Olympus" it was absolutely beautiful. Olympus is a gorgeous 4 bedroom, 3.5 baths, 3,848 sqft. model. It has a Bonus Room and Den, a Great Room and Two Primary Bedroom Suites, including a three-car garage. My personal favorite was the kitchen. It was truly stunning and perfect for entertaining. It has a covered outdoor living area with a gas fireplace if you like entertaining outside. The home has all the bells in whistles that a homebuyer dreams of.  Here is a picture of the model home that I personally took

I was impressed with the craftsmanship and how tastefully done the house was. I personally loved how all the window frames had window trim, plus the high ceilings, spacious hallways, walk-in pantry, beautiful French doors, and many more nice touches throughout the house. It truly is a stunning home and has me really excited for the rest of the places to be built. Another personal favorite was that there were two primary suites to choose from, one on the main level and the other upstairs. I feel that this is an excellent feature for Homebuyers. Many people are looking for a primary bedroom that is on the main level these days.

Another photo I took outlines some of the Features Homebuyers will get to look forward to in these New Homes

Monroe, an Ongoing Growing Community!

I have written about how places in the Snohomish County area have continued to grow during the past year, particularly in Monroe. No later than May of 2021, I blogged about how many more people are packing up, moving further out, and homebuyers are leaving the city "Washington's Rural Communities"

Snohomish County saw an increase of over 10% in sale prices, with an average of seven days on the market, and that trend continues. At the end of my blog, I also stated that I predict that Washington's rural areas will start growing even more, and people will see more of the benefits that come with moving out a little further. It looks like I was right. I added more to this back in August 2021 when I blogged, "Monroe, A Growing Community"  and mentioned some quick facts about Monroe's history and Monroe's nearby attractions like Woods Creek and the new Skykomish River Centennial Park. Overall, Monroe has to offer many different charming qualities, and you should consider buying a home in Monroe.

I quoted Herald Net, when they mentioned what Connie Mennie, a city spokesperson, said back in 2020 "Drive until you can afford it is an old real estate phrase,"

In another blog I wrote in October 2021, "Snohomish County Continues to Grow!I noted that in Monroe, within the past 10 years (2010-2020), the population increased by 13.84%. It is becoming more and more apparent with Newer Home Developments like Wild Sky Estates (as well as many others that have been built recently) that more people are continuing the trend of moving further out. Not only should you Buy Real Estate, but definitely consider Buying a home in Monroe!

With great attractions like access to Woods Creek, the Skykomish River Centennial Park, wonderful parks like Lake Tye in Monroe, Lord Hill Park (only 15 min away from Main St. Monroe), Monroe is an outdoors person's dream. They also have activities from disc golf to taking someone to the Lagacy farm and meeting some animals!

Monroe is ideally located and reasonably close to many hikes like Wallace Falls (only 24 min away). Or stay local and head to Al Borlin Park, which has great reviews, or Frylands Park, which allows you to walk the trail around the lake.

Some of Washington's favorite vacation places are much closer as well. Places like Lake Chelan, an hour closer than starting from Seattle and Leavenworth, just over 1.5 hours from Monroe. Below here are some of my blog references to these locations:

Road trips from Monroe Series: Chapter 1: The Adventures of Lake Chelan

Road trips from Monroe Series: Chapter 2: The magnificent Wallace Falls

Road trips from Monroe Series: Chapter 3: Leavenworth

Monroe also has great new restaurants, activities like Summer Showdown Speedway at The Evergreen State Fair, and Music in the Park. Monroe is a wonderfully charming, outgoing community. Are you looking for a Real Estate Agent in Monroe? Contact Me!, I would love to help you find the next place to call home.
