One of the safest cities in the United States is in Western Washington, according to a report from moneygeek.com.

While the majority of the safest small cities are in the northeast, Sammamish, Washington, is 13th on the list.

A small city or town is defined as having between 30,000 to 100,000 residents.

According to the report, crime statistics were analyzed to rank the cost of crime in 660 small cities nationwide, in every state.

The report says while the cost of crime has gone down by 5% from 2020 to 2021, the cost of crime has gone up in larger cities by 6%.

The city of about 66,000 is located 21 miles east of Seattle. Located on the east bank of Lake Sammamish, the city is perched on a plateau. The city has one of the highest median…

What began as an extension of 2021’s high-flying real estate frenzy soon enough tumbled and fell to a near standstill by the Federal Reserve’s hiking of interest rates, rendering borrowing costs too pricy for most would-be homebuyers, who, no matter how hard they tried, couldn’t bend the numbers to their will.

As rates rose, existing-home sales fell, builders pumped the brakes, price growth decelerated, and property sat on the sidelines far longer than forecasted. Real estate companies, meanwhile, braced for lean times after riding high through most of 2020 and 2021, with thousands of workers laid off and quarterly earnings reports showing losses — in some cases, to an unprecedented degree.

To better measure an immeasurable 2022, we searched high…

Most of all the real estate marketing you see out there from other companies is all about “Them…. The Agent.”

Completely missing the most important point… It’s not about “Them”….. It’s about the “Client/Customer”

Everyone loves taking about themselves. That’s a truism from psychology 101. So our course for agents seeing a mailer where people have said nice things about them or given testimonials looks amazing. They also love to show off all the homes they have sold…

It’s pretty unlikely anyone would self-mail out a critical review of their services… Hummmm

And all of those homes?.... We’ll it’s good to know that agent is making a lot of money….. But there isn’t anything mentioning the value or saving to the customer is there?

In a…

Due to unforeseen circumstances, including construction delays caused by necessary third-party utility relocations and inclement weather, the City of Sammamish's Public Works Department has determined the road opening by end of January is not feasible.

The City of Sammamish has looked at options to hasten the construction or partial openings but has determined in an abundance of caution that these options are not safe nor realistic due to weather events and fiscal constraints.

Upon reviewing the contractor's updated and current schedule, and the status of utility relocations, the bridge and roadway are now scheduled to be opened to traffic on May 1, 2021.

We understand this inconvenience and thank you for your continued patience as we work to…

After topping the list just a year earlier as the "Richest" city in America (See: Sammamish Tops Census List of Richest Cities in America) Sammamish has now been named as the Best Small City to Live in America by Wallethub.

SAMMAMISH, Wash. -- The Eastside suburb of Sammamish was named the Best Small City to Live in America by a new survey, though it was quite a bit of company from fellow Eastside neighbors near the top of the list.

Wallethub compared 1,200 cities across the nation with populations between 25,000 and 100,000 and scored them against 43 indicators ranging from housing costs to school system quality to restaurants per capita -- even how they are handling the COVID-19 outbreak.
