We are happy to welcome Clara King to The Cascade Team!  Clara will be joining our Tacoma Office where she will be working with Roger Stensland.  Clara is an experienced agent that is coming to us from Prudential Olympia Realtors.  Her focus is on the Tacoma and Lacey area.  She will be a wonderful addition to our team!

About Clara:  My 20+ years in real estate and property management includes a long list of successful projects involving marketing and leasing of commercial and residential properties. Locally, I have developed a professional rapport among banking, escrow officers, brokers, contractors and many satisfied returning clients.

During my tenure with the U.S. Air Force, I was Chief of Housing. I leased 17 apartment buildings and converted them for military family housing. The U.S. Army personnel had been using "post-war" damaged/broken beds with no replacements; I negotiated/secured a $5 million contract with the Pentagon to purchase furnishings for the troops. My greatest achievement however was a task that involved land surveys across Asian/European borders for the U.S. Consulate in Istanbul. I located, analyzed, appraised and recommended 65 vacant land properties for acquisition and the potential development of new office facilities. Prior to this, state department personnel had "haggled" over one parcel that had 13 owners, complicating the purchase and acquisition process over a two-year period.

As a proven professional, I can readily transfer competent sales and real estate knowledge to any state/federal, public or private sector environment. I can manage and administer urban/rural properties, public lands, as well as, manage apartment complexes and residential housing. My expertise includes site reviews, assessment, comparative market analysis, proven sales and closing techniques utilizing the best leasing instruments and data base systems. My personal drive and PR has permitted me to collaborate with top American and European engineers, architects, contractors, foreign businessmen, U.S. Consulate officers and government officials with finesse and end-results.

I am familiar with all aspects of state, federal, city/county ordinances, codes, policies to meet property/real estate leasing requirements. My training in Real Estate Law has provided me with the "legalese" required for real estate contracts, reviews, revision and acquisition.
