We are happy to welcome Mick and Evan Nelson to The Cascade Team!  They will both be working out of the Portland Office.  Mick will be managing the Portland Office as well.

Mick is a native Oregonian and has lived in the Portland Metro area most of his life. His extended family still reside in Lake Oswego and West Linn.

Mick and his wife currently live in SW Portland near Multnomah Village.

Mick was first licensed in 1986 in Oregon and California, as both a Realtor and Mortgage Broker.
He also co-owned a commercial electrical contracting business, and that business stills operates today under the guidance of his business partner.

Mick has 43 Master Electrician and Electrical Contractor licenses covering most of the US. He has worked with the top commercial contractors in Portland on projects exceeding $10MM.

This experience has given him a thorough knowledge of building code standards, construction techniques, contract negotiation, project management, and business management and development. This knowledge base is highly relevant to the real estate profession, a knowledge base possessed by few real estate professionals.

Evan Nelson comes from Lake Oswego, a suburb just south of Portland. He attended Three Rivers Charter School in West Linn and Riverdale High School in Dunthorpe.

Evan has lived in the Portland Metro area all of his life. He currently lives near the SW Portland neighborhood of Raleigh Hills.

Evan comes from a family of contractors. His father has an electrical contracting business and his uncle is a custom home builder in Lake Oswego. Evan spent his teenage years working as a framer and remodeling specialist of luxury homes. He worked for several high end real estate developers in Lake Oswego and Portland. After finishing school he pursued his current career in real estate.

Evan worked at Keller Williams on the top producing team in all of Portland. This was a fantastic opportunity. Working side by side with some of the top Realtors in PDX has given him an education that could not have been obtained anywhere else. Evan then took the next logical business step and co-branded a team of his own, and the E Group of Real Estate Professionals was born.

Mick and Evan will be a wonderful addition to The Cascade Team and we look forward to their success!
