I entered the real estate industry in 2003 and sold residential real estate for two years before being offered the opportunity to become the company’s Transaction Manager. And I was managing over 96 transactions in a single year by the end of 2005. By 2007 the market took a turn so I focused on caring for our daughter and aging parents for a while before reentering the business and learning the property management side of real estate. I’ve really enjoyed working with sellers and buyers again. Because for me, I’ve never felt greater job satisfaction from any other work I’ve done before. Being able to call my buyers and say, “Congratulations, you just bought a house!” or telling the sellers, “We just received a great offer on your home.” is such a wonderful feeling. And when they tell me that I made it a terrific experience for them-- it’s just the icing on the cake. I consider being selected to help people with one of the biggest purchases they’ll ever make an honor, and I work very hard to earn their trust.
