Wendy was first licensed as a Realtor® in 1998. In 2001 she went back to work in the property management industry for a time, then moved to personal marketing at Eagle Home Mortgage. Wendy worked at Mountain To Sound Realty’s parent company, Lane and Associates, Inc. 2006-2008 as Executive Assistant to Linda, learning to perform relocation services and providing right-of-way negotiation assistance for Lane and Associates’ projects. Wendy earned her License to Sell Real Estate for a second time in early 2007 to be able to better assist Linda and for Wendy to be able to work with her own client base. After working in operations at another local small real estate company 2008-2010 Wendy returned to Lane and Associates in 2011 when it developed a new focus as Mountain To Sound Realty.

Wendy’s role at MTSR now is as a Realtor®, but she still functions as administrative specialist to Linda, bringing her expertise in transaction management, compliance, business strategy, and social media marketing for real estate. Wendy is the company’s “green advisor” and holds several green designations, first as a Built Green Certified Professional in Real Estate since 2007. She also is an EcoBroker®, which is a nation-wide designation, and in 2010 went through the City of Seattle-sponsored training provided by the Earth Advantage Institute of Portland, Oregon, in preparation for the EPS (Energy Performance Score, or “miles per gallon”) sticker the City wishes to roll out for residential homes. The designation earned in this program is Earth Advantage Broker®. Professional development in 2011 included a federally-sponsored “green jobs” training program to become Certified in the use of Energy Star’s® Portfolio Manager online program, specifically trained in Energy Efficiency Accounting and Benchmarking for Commercial Buildings. Wendy is very active in the sustainability and green real estate movements, right down to where she lives – in the Built Green® Certified Community of High Point in West Seattle.

Wendy likes to work with first time home buyers, second home purchasers, investment property buyers, engages in advanced video and social media marketing techniques for sellers, and wants to work with anyone who is interested in purchasing an Environmentally-Certified Home, or creating one out of the home they currently own.
