In previous years she participated in the startup of three businesses, which she successfully managed before seeking the next challenge. Her most recent venture was into the field of residential real estate, where within the first year she brokered nine transactions. Today "For the Love North Bend", will give you TWO amazing reasons why you don't have to go far to get GREAT service! I am always looking for ways to keep it local and not get on I-90 and these two small businesses offer just that! 

This morning, I got to have coffee with Blake from Blake's Mobile Detail and afterwards I got to see what this incredibly convenient service was all about. As I worked from home, Blake tended to my car in my driveway and now it looks just a beautiful as the day I bought it. KIRKLAND, Washington (November 6, 2018) – Seven months of steadily rising housing inventory reversed course in October when Northwest Multiple Listing Service brokers added the fewest new listings since February, according to a new report. MLS members believe the onset of wintry weather and transition to the holiday season are factors, but suggested the slower pace also signals improving conditions for house-hunters.

“After months of inventory growth that more than quadrupled the number of homes buyers have to choose from, things got back on a seasonal track with new listings and total supply falling in October,” said Robert Wasser, a director with Northwest MLS, when comparing those metrics with September.

The detailed report on the market cooling came Tuesday with the monthly release of the nationwide Case-Shiller home price index. The index shows single-family home prices across the metro area fell 1.6 percent in August on a month-over-month basis, the biggest drop in the country.

The most recent numbers show the median house costs $668,000 in King County, $485,000 in Snohomish County and $353,000 in Pierce County.

"For the love of North Bend" is a blog series that will highlight places, people, businesses, and the many reasons that make this town so great! When I decided that I wanted to write this blog, I made a few posts on local social media sites to get my creative juices flowing, the response was overwhelming! Costco and the City of Issaquah reached a deal on a new 640,000-square-foot building, expected to open in 2020.

The retailer plans to add a nine-story, 620,000-square-foot office building and adjacent parking garage with about 1,650 stalls at its Issaquah campus.

The new building will mark the first construction after an agreement from a few years ago that allowed Costco to build 1.5 million square feet of new office space, and in exchange, the city and Costco agreed to partner 50/50 on nearly $50 million in new street improvements.
