Seemingly everyone is playing Pokémon GO. If you’re not already playing it yourself, you’ve no doubt heard about it. It’s not an exaggeration to say that the new mobile and augmented reality game from Niantic Labs and The Pokémon Company is having an enormous impact on people’s daily routines. This has obsessed Pokémon players taking unusually long walks with their canine friends, people visiting Pokémon Gyms,  and a co-pilots double-fisting smartphones while you’re driving to dinner (please don’t drive and hunt Pokémon — get someone in the passenger seat).

Snoqualmie, North Bend, Duvall, Carnation and Covington Warned By State to Slow Growth

Leaders of the small cities — Duvall, Carnation, North Bend, Snoqualmie and Covington — say they, not a central planning agency, should determine how they expand within their own borders. And they say that without growth they can’t keep the lights on and the roads paved.

Home Staging Tips

Preparing your home to sell can sometimes seem overwhelming. Here's the first tip to get your home ready: 

Make sure that the outside of your home looks perfect. If buyer's drive by and think your yard is a mess, they won't even stop the car!!!

Make sure the yard is clear of debris.

Add some color to the front, with new flowers.

Pressure-wash the concrete.

Make sure all of the shrubs are trimmed, so people can see your home.

Make sure the windows are clean inside and out!!!

Store any evidence of animals, this immediately can turn buyers away.

102,000 Crayons For Children’s Hospital

Thank you again to everyone who helped and participated in the 2016 Project Crayon Drive to benefit Children’s Hospital of Seattle. And a special shout out to our friends at KMPS for showing up with their truck and some added man-power to help us load up and deliver this morning. This year we collected just over 102,000 crayons for this wonderful event. Everyone’s time and effort really goes a long way and all of our sponsors, participants and everyone who took the time to donated arte appreciated far more than mere words can ever express!

The Cascade Team Is Ten Years Old Today!

It’s hard to believe that 10 years ago today I told my managing broker at John L Scott that I was leaving and going to start my own brokerage. Back then I had a different business partner named David Field, Doug Young still didn’t have a real estate license, Lori Young was my stager and believe it or not… Zillow only cost $25 per month!

Fast forward to today and here we sit with 25 offices in 5 states (with more to come soon) with several hundred brokers out there doing amazing things.
