We are very excited to announce that our 3D Matterport Virtual Tour camera has arrived. Over the next week we will be learning how to properly use the camera and then the week on November the 10th you should be able to start booking 3D Virtual Tours. We have 2 photographers ready to use the camera and who will be on call. Janet is also already working on marketing materials for this: “State-of-the-art 3D Virtual Tours and floor plans AND a 1% Listing Commission!”

I know several agents are already including this technology in their listing presentations. With Redfin pushing this on TV more and more people are becoming aware of this technology and so we are very happy to be able to include in out portfolio here at The Cascade Team!

Even though I talk to him several times a day on the phone it’s great to have my friend and business partner Doug Young up from Arizona this week. I have missed you tons Doug. Here is Doug teaching a Tech-Tools class in our new Agent Support Center. If you haven’t made it by the Issaquah office later come in and visit our new 2200 sq ft office located in the same building in Gilman Village just now occupying the space above the quilt shop. There is a hard-wired agent room with 5 high-speed internet ports, and work room with copy, fax, etc, A marketing room, full kitchen, and training room that can seat up to 40 people.

Great news!  Effective on January 21, 2015. Interest calculated on payoff statements for FHA loans will be based on actual per-diem interest. This is similar to all other loan products.

Under current guidelines, a homeowner with an FHA loan is responsible for the mortgage interest through the end of the month regardless of the day in that month they closed.  For Example: a homeowner sells home and sets a closing date of October 5th.  The seller would still be responsible for interest calculated through October 31st,  the end of the month.  This is also why under current guidelines lenders always try to close FHA refinance loans at the end of the month. 

Under the new January 2015 guideline, mortgage payoff interest on an FHA loan would be calculated…
